You can connect multiple Sinch Engage accounts to a single HubSpot account to better meet your organizational needs, use the secondary accounts in HubSpot Workflows and send 1-to-1 messages.
Common use cases
- Branch-specific usage tracking: If your organization operates across multiple branches, you can connect separate accounts to your HubSpot account to track SMS usage for each branch independently by sending campaigns and 1-to-1 messages using different accounts and sender IDs.
- Contact segmentation for different user groups: Contact sync and segment contacts in the Sinch Engage platform for various user roles within your organization e.g. sales teams may only need access to lead data, while marketing teams might work with the entire contact database to run targeted campaigns.

Message type segmentation: Use one Sinch Engage account for marketing messages and another for transactional notifications. This setup allows users to opt out of marketing messages while still receiving important transactional notifications e.g. system alerts or order confirmations.
Add the secondary Sinch Engage connection
To set up the secondary connection with your HubSpot account:
- Log in to your secondary Sinch Engage account(s) and connect them as you did with your primary account.
- When prompted with a confirmation to approve the connection, click Yes to proceed.
Use secondary accounts in HubSpot Workflows
To send messages from different Sinch Engage accounts and their respective Sender IDs within your HubSpot Workflows:
- Choose the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the workflow action screen.

Choose the desired Sender ID from the Sender ID Name drop-down list.
Note: This feature is currently only available in Contact-Based Workflows.
Send 1-to-1 messages using secondary accounts
In some cases, you may need separate Sinch Engage accounts to differentiate marketing and transactional messages. This ensures customers can opt-out of marketing messages while still receiving important transactional notifications.
To send a direct message using a different Sinch Engage account in HubSpot:
- Choose the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the 1-to-1 direct messaging screen.
- Choose the desired Sender ID from the Sender ID Name drop-down list.
- Type your message and click Send Now.
