This article provides detailed guidelines to help you complete your TFN verification application.
Note: You can use the form to verify up to five TFNs for a single use case. However, if you need to verify more than multiple TFNs, please contact our support team who will be happy to assist.
Important information about how you obtain consent
To get your TFN verified, you'll need to provide evidence of a compliant opt-in process, i.e. the way you get people’s consent to send messages to them.
You can only use a business application to send messages to people who've given their explicit consent to receive those messages from you. This applies to all business messaging, including sending to employees.
If you don’t provide evidence of a compliant opt-in process, your TFN cannot be verified, and you won’t be able to keep sending messages.
If you don’t currently have a compliant opt-in process, you’ll need to create one to submit with this application to get your TFN verified.
Here's where you can find the form
To get started, head to the web portal and review your list of TFNs that need to be verified by navigating to Settings > Numbers > Dedicated Numbers. If you have an unverified TFN, there will be an alert next to the number in the Number Status column.
To fill out the form, just click on the Verify my TFN button on the right and follow the prompts - this is the easiest way to fill out the form as we've already filled out some of the important parts for you! If you're not able to for any reason though you can use the form further down this article.
Once the form is submitted correctly, you'll receive a confirmation email. If you’re having trouble logging into the Hub, you can also complete the form here on our support site.

| What's the reason you're using more than one TFN? |
You must have a legitimate business reason for using multiple TFNs. Legitimate reasons include:

| Business details | This is where we need a few specific details about your business. |
| What’s your business’ name? |
Enter the name of the company that’ll be responsible for the content of the message. This is the name that needs to be on your messages and your ‘HELP’ and ‘STOP’ auto-reply templates. |
| What’s your business’ current website? | Enter your current URL in this field. If you don't have one, please write 'No website.' |
| What’s your business’ registered address? | Enter the address (include city, state, and zip code). If it’s international, please provide the company's local address and include the country. |
| Is your business a Fortune 500 or 1000 company? | Simply answer “yes” or “no” here. |

Official business registration documents can be used to verify your business. Examples include:

Select the primary use case that’s the most applicable to your messages. Just make a selection from the dropdown menu.
Note: If you select Political you will also be prompted to include a Campaign verify token, FEC Committee ID, or State-Level Equivalent

This is important to avoid blocking and filtering. If you use short trackable links, then you can just put “https://nxt.to” |

| Where’s the number advertised? | Please share details about where the number is advertised to customers. |

| How do customers opt-in to receive your messages? |
Tell us how customers find out about and opt-in to receive your messages. Select as many as apply. |
| How does your POS team ask a customer to opt-in to receive messages? | If your customers opt-in at your point of sale (e.g. in store), please provide an example of what your staff might say to invite customers to receive your messages. |
| What's the URL of the opt-in webpage? | If your customers opt-in on a website, please list the URL here. |
| Please provide a screenshot of the webpage. | Share one or more screenshots of the website where users can opt-in to your messaging. |
| How do customers learn about the text-to-join number and keywords? | If your customers opt-in by texting in a keyword, please tell us where they find your number. Plus, share the keyword they need to text to receive your messages. |
| Please provide a photo or screenshot of where the text-to-join details are published. | Upload one or more photos and/or screenshots of where the number and keywords are advertised for your text-to-join opt-in. |
| Please provide any additional photos and/or screenshots showing how people opt-in to receive your messages. |
Provide any more supporting evidence of your opt-in process. e.g. If you use messaging for 2FA/OTP: Please provide screenshots that show how customers sign up to your service and agree to receive 2FA/OTP texts. The more evidence you provide, the more likely it is that your application will be processed quickly. |
