Only users with Admin permissions can uninstall the Sinch SMS & MMS HubSpot integration. The uninstall process must be completed in two stages - first from the Sinch engage platform and then from HubSpot. This order is important to ensure a clean disconnection without leaving any residual links or configurations between the two systems.
Note: We don't recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the integration as a troubleshooting step to fix integration issues. If you're experiencing issues, search the HubSpot and Sinch Engage knowledge bases or attempt to troubleshoot the issue first. If you're still unable to resolve the issue, you can contact HubSpot Support or Sinch Engage support.
How Disconnecting or Uninstalling Affects Your HubSpot Account and Data
After uninstalling the HubSpot app from the Sinch Engage account, your messages and contacts will still remain in your Sinch Engage account and can continue to be accessed there.

1: Disconnect the integration from Sinch
To disconnect the HubSpot integration from your Sinch account:
- In the Sinch Engage platform, from the left-side menu, navigate to Extensions and then Integrations.
- Locate the Hubspot tile and click See details.
- In the pop-window, click Disconnect.
- Click the Yes, disconnect now button to confirm your choice.
Your Sinch Engage account is now disconnected from HubSpot.
2: Uninstall the integration from HubSpot
Once you've disconnect the integration from the Sinch Engage platform, you can uninstall the integration from HubSpot:
- Sign in to your HubSpot account.
- Click the App Marketplace icon in the top navigation bar.
- Click Connect apps.
- Click on the My Apps tab.
- Locate Sinch SMS & MMS and click on the Actions button to open the drop-down list.
- Select the Uninstall option.
- In the dialog box, review the data and settings that will and will not be removed.
- Type uninstall in the confirmation field.
- Click the Uninstall button.
