Once you've connected the Sinch Power Automate connector, you may want to receive delivery receipts for the SMS, MMS or RCS you send in your workflows. When you add your first action or trigger from the Sinch connector, you'll be asked for your API credentials - be sure to store these somewhere safe until you're prompted to enter them.
Power Automate currently supports RCS basic messages.
Add the receive delivery receipt trigger to a workflow
- Log in and open Power Automate.
- From the left-side navigation, click on My flows.
- Click on the + New Flow button.
- From within the flow, you can add a trigger.
- A pop-up screen will appear on the left. In the search box, type in "Sinch" and the Sinch connector will be listed as a premium connector.

Click on the When receiving a delivery receipt trigger to add it to your workflow. The trigger handles the following delivery receipt statuses:
- delivered
- enroute
- failed
- rejected
- read
- submitted

Depending on the purpose of your workflow, you may want to add a condition straight after the trigger to action the next step e.g. check the status of the delivery receipt and if it contains a specific status, then add the details of the receipt to a data store for future use.
When checking the status in a flow, it needs to be in lowercase in the condition, otherwise the condition won't work.
Note: Avoid using a Send SMS, Send MMS or Send RCS message action after a delivery receipt trigger - doing so will create an infinite loop.
- Once you've finished configuring your workflow, click on the Save icon. We recommend testing out your flow to make sure everything is set up properly.
