Once you've connected the Sinch Power Automate connector, you may want to receive SMS, MMS or RCS in your workflows. When you add your first action or trigger from the Sinch connector, you'll be asked for your API credentials - be sure to store these somewhere safe until you're prompted to enter them.
Power Automate currently supports RCS basic messages.
Add the receive message trigger to a workflow
- Log in and open Power Automate.
- From the left-side navigation, click on My flows.
- Click on the + New Flow button.
- From within the flow, you can add a trigger.
- A pop-up screen will appear on the left. In the search box, type in "Sinch" and the Sinch connector will be listed as a premium connector.

Click on the When a message is received trigger to add it to your workflow.

Depending on the purpose of your workflow, you may want to add a condition straight after the trigger to action the next step e.g. check the content of the inbound message and if it contains a specific keyword, then send an email.
The Message text content field can be used to get the content of a reply when using the When a message is received trigger. The type field can be used to identify the type of message.
- Once you've finished configuring your workflow, click on the Save icon. We recommend testing out your flow to make sure everything is set up properly.
