This article explains how to set your preferred date format in SMS templates and not just use the default format, which may not align with your regional preferences (04/02/2024 vs 02/04/2024 etc.). Changing the date format will help to eliminate any potential misunderstandings when sending out dates that don’t line up with what your users are expecting.
1. Go to the Zoho CRM modules at the top, find the Smooth Inbox and Bulk SMS module, and click on it.
2. Click on the gear icon at the top right-hand corner to open the Smooth Inbox settings.
3. Open the CRM USER SETTINGS tab, choose the date/time format you prefer under the "Select Date/Time Format" dropdown menu, and click SAVE. The page should reload, and you may now use this date/time format in your SMS templates.
4. If you'd like to set a custom date/time format, click "SWITCH TO CUSTOMIZING DATE/TIME FORMAT".
5. Enter the custom date/time format of your preference under "Customize Date/Time Format", and click SAVE. The available symbols are visible if you click the (i) icon. After saving, the page will reload, and you may now use this date/time format in your SMS templates.
