After you've installed the Mercury SMS app to Salesforce, you'll need to either connect your existing Sinch MessageMedia account or create a new account with the free trial.
Note - If at any stage you need to disconnect the Hub from the Mercury SMS app, this article can show you how. |
Click on the connection option that applies to you, and follow the steps:
I'm a New Sinch MessageMedia Customer | Start a Free Trial
1. From the Mercury SMS app, navigate to the Setup & Configuration tab.
2. In the first section, click the Start a free trial button:
3. You'll be redirected to the partner registration page. Complete the form and click Get started:
4. After you create your trial account, go to the Integrations page in the messaging Hub and click Install Now on the Salesforce tile:
5. You'll then be presented with a modal detailing the integration. After you've read through the information and understand the terms and conditions, click Next:
6. Now select the option for I've already installed Mercury SMS - if you haven't installed the Mercury SMS app to Salesforce yet, select the option for Let's install Mercury SMS now and click Connect. This will take you to the Salesforce App Exchange, then just follow the installation instructions in this article.
7. Select the type of Salesforce environment you'd like to connect.
8. Then click the Connect button:
9. Return to the Mercury SMS Setup & Configuration tab where you'll see confirmation that you're connected to your nominated Hub account:

Important - You'll need to be logged into the messaging Hub to connect your existing account. |
1. From the Mercury SMS app, navigate to the Setup & Configuration tab.
2. In the first section, click Connect existing account:
3. The account connector page will open with a list of your available accounts and sub-accounts. Click Connect on the Hub account you want to connect to Salesforce:
4. Click Allow to grant permission for Mercury SMS to access your Hub data:
5. You'll automatically return to the Mercury SMS Setup & Configuration tab where you'll see confirmation that you're connected to your nominated Hub account:
