This article explains how to view and manage your SMS limit. The SMS limit refers to a setting that can be configured on your account that determines the number of SMS messages you are able to send within a day or month. They're an effective way to:
Control your usage.
Prevent user error whereby a user might upload a misconfigured file with more recipients than intended.
Prevent machine error whereby an integrated, automated system might send more messages than intended.

How to adjust your SMS limit
1. In the left hand navigation menu, click on Settings, then select Numbers
2. Click into the Settings tab.
3. Under the SMS heading you will see SMS Limit
4. Click on the Edit icon and enter a value in either the Per day or Per month text area.
5. Now click Save and you're done.
| Note - To reset the limit back to the system limit, simply repeat this process but delete the values in each field and click Save. |
