Depending on your use case, you may prefer to send messages via the Hub using your own (or work-issued) mobile number as the Sender ID. Similar to a Dedicated Number or Alpha Tag provisioned by us, using your own number for your Sender ID means that all of your messages will come from the same number giving your recipients the opportunity to save the number so they know who's messaging them.
Important:
|
1. In the menu, click on Settings, then select Numbers & Channels:
2. Scroll down to My own numbers and click on the Actions menu for the number you wish to re-verify:
3. Click on Re-verify:
4. A verification code will be sent to the mobile number you selected. Enter that code into the re-verification field and click Re-verify mobile number:
And that's it - you're good to go.
Once your own number is re-verified, you will see the Last Verified Data and Status updated to show the number has been successfully re-verified:
You can also update the default sender ID so that all future messages will be sent from your own number - this article can show you how.
